Description

Double Sunday from Sandnes Garn is the thickest variety of merino wool, ideal for warm and durable knits. You can knit it alone, double it, or combine it with Tynn Silk Mohair for fluffy, luxurious sweaters and accessories.

Merino wool has excellent thermal insulation properties and, thanks to its fiber structure, can wick moisture away from the body – it absorbs up to 30% of its weight in water without the knitwear feeling wet. This ensures comfort and a dry feeling when worn.

The wool comes from Australian sheep that have not been subjected to mulesing, which guarantees the ethical origin of the material. Double Sunday does not have a superwash treatment, but it can be washed in a washing machine on a wool program at 30 °C. Do not use a bag when washing - rubbing against each other could cause the knitwear to become felted.
