Description

DROPS Baby Merino is a yarn made from fine 100% merino wool, obtained from free-range sheep from South America that are not subjected to mulesing. Extra soft, breathable and non-irritating wool, specially designed for the sensitive skin of babies and young children. The yarn has a Superwash treatment, which makes it suitable for daily use and is machine washable.

The exceptional elasticity of the yarn places special demands on the correct processing of the knitwear: we take care to maintain the density of the test sample - we prefer to choose denser (i.e. knit on thinner needles) than looser. We wash the finished product in colder water and never let it soak too much. We dry it loosely spread out.

Like the thicker DROPS Merino Extra Fine, DROPS Baby Merino creates a neat and regular knit.

Origin of raw materials: Wool comes from South America

This yarn has been certified by Oeko-Tex® (number 25.3.0110), Standard 100, Class I, issued by the testing institute INNOVATEXT TEXTILE ENGINEERING AND TESTING, HUNGARY. This means that it has been tested for the presence of irritants and has been found safe for humans and nature. Class I is the highest level, which is why this yarn is also suitable for babies and young children (aged 0-3 years).
